Brazilian Morning Air with Erin

This was such a pleasant session. In Brazil, even in the “winter” months, it’s pretty hot….at least it feels that way for a pregnant lady who’s been pampered with AC for most of her life! But the early morning air was always fresh and light and the company for this senior session (Erin!) was light hearted and easy going as we explored the site where she and her family live and minister alongside other missionaries through the non-profit “With Open Arms.”

I’m excited for you to see a glimpse of this girls personality and character through these photographs. She has spent the last 6 years of her life in Brazil working and learning alongside her parents and siblings to serve the Lord among the Brazilian children who are waiting for verdicts on adoption or home placement from the local judges as well as among whomever they meet on the streets of Recife and through jujitsu and other outreaches their team has started. She’s a normal girl living as believers are called to live- in obedience to the Lord.

Erin, I had so much fun getting to know you and your family and am blessed by the experience. Thank you for allowing me to photograph you! And the next time you’re in the states, I’m totally going to win a game of unruly unicorns!…or was it unsavory unicorns….
