I know I say this all of the time…but family sessions are my favorites, and my passion! Especially when I am able to photograph a family who is living in a legacy that has been sculpted from the beginning of one marriage and the children they raised into the beginnings of new marriages and beautiful grandchildren.
It’s so easy to get lost in the early moments of motherhood, or in singleness, or in the circumstances of marriage, and to forget the goal of finishing the race, fighting the good fight, and keeping the faith. It’s easy to lose perspective.
But to be part of a multigenerational family session like this, where you can see the faith of the father crossing generational lines, brings my heart so much joy.
So, as you scroll through the images from this hot summers evening at the Blandy Experimental Farm, consider the value of leaving a legacy.
Duvall family- it was such a blessing to work with you. You guys crack me up! And even though it was hot, we were all sweating, and fatigue set in, the end result was beautiful. Thank you for your example.
Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called…
Em Rae you are simply the best! Thank you for capturing our family in such a beautiful way!
