If you’re on this journal, then you probably know that I’m a photographer mom. Photography has become an avenue for creativity on a personal level and a fulfilling source of income for my family. I love it. But something I love even more is my family. And beyond even that, is my God.
I also think that, if you’re looking at this journal, you’re probably one of the people I love talking to and working with. Someone who is balancing life, with all of its hats, as if you’re the Cat in the Hat on a rainy-inside-day. (Side note- even the Cat in the Hat dropped his balancing act!)
And, maybe you’ve got it all together, or maybe you don’t, but you could always use a little, real, and honest encouragement.
So, friend, here I am! Your local 'friend-who-also-happens-to-be-a-photographer,' writing to you about my "real-time" life, in the context of my faith, with the goal to offer encouragement. Encouragement that God is good. That you’re not alone. That I, just like you, care deeply about my family, their faith, and that we all finish the race and meet our God to hear, "well done good and faithful servant." And that big things come from little steps in the right direction. I know because I’m often taking baby steps in my slow growth in Christ. ;) So, if you're reading these journal entries, you're going to see some of my favorite work that I've created with my amazing clients, but you'll also see me, trying to live with eternity in mind and honor God through what he has entrusted to me.

Well…with the exception of few bugs…;) My family loves this family. They are a family who seeks after the Lord, who work to have a loving home, and who value teaching their […]
A Day in Woodstock with Alexander Autumn is in full swing in the Shenandoah Valley and I am so excited! This session with Alexander could not have been more pleasant. The leaves have turned into their golden colors and the rainy morning gave way to a beautiful, sunny evening. Just perfect for capturing […]
